Delete your VOCO data.
Last updated
These instructions apply to VOCO and VOCOADS, provided under VOCO Technologies, the registered business name of a sole trader in Ireland.
You can disconnect Meta or Google Ads, or ask us to permanently delete your VOCO account and associated data.
Stop VOCO managing your Google Ads
You can disconnect immediately using the instructions below. If you need help, email hello@vocoads.com. We will enable disassociation of your Google Ads campaigns from VOCO within 3 business days of receiving your notice, with checks to protect the correct account. This opt-out is separate from the longer process for deleting stored records and does not require a paid subscription. Your ads remain in your Google Ads account; disconnecting does not stop their spend.
Disconnect Meta
Open VOCO, go to Settings, then Connected accounts, and choose Disconnect in the Meta section. This removes the stored user and Page credentials for that connection, clears its selected assets and blocks new publishing, lead and reporting requests through it. We also attempt to revoke the Meta grant. You can independently remove VOCO in Facebook's Business Integrations settings. Revoking a shared Facebook authorisation can affect other VOCO workspaces using that identity.
Disconnecting does not pause or delete ads already running on Meta, remove an agency's partner access, delete your Facebook Page, or delete reports and leads already imported into VOCO. Request deletion below if you want stored Meta data removed as well.
Disconnect Google Ads
Open VOCO, go to Settings, then Connected accounts, and choose Disconnect in the Google Ads section. VOCO removes the stored connection tokens and stops using that connection for campaign management or reporting. We also attempt to revoke the Google grant. If needed, revoke VOCO directly in your Google Account connections. This can affect other VOCO workspaces authorised with the same Google identity.
Disconnecting does not pause or delete ads already running in Google, delete your Google Ads account, or remove reports and leads already imported into VOCO. Ask for data deletion below if you also want those stored records removed. Turning off optional AI explanations in Connected accounts stops future Google performance-summary requests to the AI service without disconnecting reporting.
Request data or account deletion
Email hello@vocoads.com with the subject “VOCO data deletion request”. Include the workspace or advertiser name and say whether you want specific Meta or Google data, a lead record, a client workspace or your whole account deleted. If you have a VOCO account, use its email address where possible. You do not need an active subscription or access to the app to make a request.
We may verify your identity and authority over the requested data. Do not send passwords, platform access tokens or identity documents unless we explain why additional verification is necessary and provide a suitable method. Staff, invited clients and people who submitted a lead can also request deletion of their own information. For advertiser-controlled lead data, we will help route the request to the responsible advertiser; requests do not permit erasing unrelated clients' records.
What we delete
For a verified request within your authority, we delete the relevant account profile, workspace data, brand information, campaign inputs, generated assets, Meta and Google credentials, imported leads and their notes or activities, advertising-account records, saved performance explanations and reporting records covered by the request. We include associated service-provider copies where applicable. Deletion from VOCO does not delete the advertiser's original data held by Meta, Google or another system.
We explain any limited records that must remain, the reason and the retention period. Billing or legal records may need to be retained to meet statutory obligations; Meta Platform Data is kept beyond required deletion only when applicable law requires it. Backup copies, where present, expire according to the hosting provider's backup cycle and must not reintroduce deleted records into active use if restored. See retention and deletion for more detail.
Timing
Requests are handled by the VOCO Technologies team. We aim to acknowledge them within 7 days and complete verified deletion within 30 days. We normally respond to a privacy-rights request within one month of receipt. If applicable law permits an extension, we will explain the reason within that period. We confirm the outcome by email, including any information that must lawfully remain; disconnecting an account alone is not confirmation of full deletion.
